So ... my birthday was yesterday. I'm 20 now ... 2...0 ... two decades... That's kind-of hard to face! But the wonderful girls here gave me a great two days of celebrating! I wish my family and Matt could have been here to enjoy it too, but I got to talk to both of them on the phone and I am soooo incredibly grateful for the way God blessed me. Saturday, I had a full day of shopping with the girls at the Mall and Walmart fun, then went to see Talladega Nights, lol.

 Yesterday on my actual birthday I had a full day of rest with various people bursting into my room to wish me Happy Birthday, phone calls gallor, lots of love and hugs. Then some of my best girlfriends here at Asbury and my roomy, (I love TIFFY!),  and I went to Applebee's for Dinner, where they sang to me! Afterwards we went to Highbridge park! It was my first time being there, and it was so beautiful, although scary, (Carey has a fear of heights and let's just say it's not called HIGHbridge for nothing...). From there we headed back to my room for a MOVIE NIGHT! YAY FUN! And ... I slept in  today ... ahhhh yes ...

I also would like to thank my wonderful Father and Mother for making me and esp. my Mom for bringing me into this world. Really when you think about, it really is the Mother that should get a party every year for all she went through to give birth to her child, so thank you Momma. Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for Blessing me with another year of life. Help me to use it follow You in Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul. Lead me this year Blessed Yeshua.

So ... to end this entry ... I'm 20! OMG!!!

Now to Homework ...

One thing that is starting to really burden my soul is how many sincere christian friends I have that are dating non-christians. It seems that a lot of my girlfriends are fading away from God one by one for a relationship with a boy. I watch them start out with best intentions, date a guy who says he is a christian, but doesn't walk the faith and slowly ... their relationship fades away from God. Slowly the traces of a deep relationship with their savior ... start to disapear ...

I am near tears ...

Ladies, and gentlemen too ... please ...let me warn you...

Missionary dating doesn't work. It's like here you are standing higher in your faith, equivalate that to standing on a chair and you try to pull the person below you in faith up on that chair with you. But the thing you don't realize is that they have more power than you do to pull you down. Don't believe me? Stand on a chair and try it some day.

It's like I can almost feel the heart of God ... breaking ... 

Please, don't jeopordize the most important thing you can ever posses in your life ... your relationship with Christ. I can't say anymore ... I am too heartbroken ...

Yes ... I have finally updated my xanga site! And, I plan on actually keeping up with it this year for those of you at home and abroad who want to actually know what is going on in my life, or atleast a little. For my first entry:

EXCITINGNESS!! ~

I just found out that I officially have a ROOM TO MYSELF in the dorm this year!!! YES! Makes it a LOT easier for me to go back to school!!

Also excitingness ...

Tomorrow is Matt's 19th birthday (YAY!) which means that for a little less than a month we're the same age(LOL!)! Yes ... We also have been dating for the last year but have been togeather for the last 3. They have been 3 WONDERFUL years. Can you believe that we have known each other since we were 3?

Plus ...

I just love God and the way he has been providng for me for this upcoming year and changing my heart to be ok with going where he wants me to go. I pray that he keeps this joyful spirit alive in  me and keeps me strong while I am away from home. Lord, let your joy be my strength...
